Permanent Registration
Date applied on - 28th august 2012
Date received - 11th jan 2013

MCI numbers - 011 2536,7033 , 35,36
Registration department - 124 (extension) they may pick up rarely!
Approximate time taken ( for different statuses)
1.Payment verified by accounts ( i paid in person in delhi) - 4 days later
2. MBBS degree verified - 1 month ( entire September)
3. 12th mark verified - 2. 5 months( after pestering a lot in DPI building - DGE)
It approximately took 2-3weeks after 12th mark sheet verification to generate the certificate.
4. Dispatched and received on 11.1.13 in Chennai post office.
5. Delivered - 15th Jan 2013 ( happy Pongal!)
Problems encountered in between
1. Fluctuating status - From approved application to under verification, from degree verified to not verified, etc
2. Not picking up calls.
3. To send 50 rs. DD for verification again ( rarely a cause of delay, many people i know never gave 50.rs DD for permanent registration but was required for provisional)
Solution- Don't panic. Keep cool and keep trying patiently. Main thing is to keep pestering them once or twice in a week.Make sure your process is not held up in School board 12th verification process.

ReplyDeleteI did my MBBS in Seychelles. Where does MCI verify my MBBS degree? At the college in Seychelles or at the Indian high commission in Seychelles? I have the seal of Indian high commission on my degree certificate.Does it need further verification?

ReplyDeletei have cleared my fmge of march 2013, i am willing to apply for permanent registration, i have the "clinical rotation (internship) certificate" of 365 days acc to mci norms from my uni.. but i don have any provisional registration number , can i apply with out that ? and if my permanent reg. got rejected by mci ,do i need to re-apply for provisional and wait for another 2 months or they ll give provisional instead of permanent at the first time?? please guide me thru this..thanks

ReplyDeleteI have applied for my permanent registration.In my eligibility certificate ,12 th board name is wrongly mentioned as tamilnadu, but my board is actually kerala.Will that create a problem during my 12 th certificate verification? Its only a mistake in eligibilty certificate. .
