Ans-32: (c) Ankylosing hyperosteosis
Friends, all i know about Ankylosing hyperostosis is
1) It is also called Diffuse idopathic skeletal hyperostosis or forrestiers disease.
2) It affects spine, sometimes extra spinal locations.
3) It causes enthesopathies meaning it affects the ligaments and muscles attached to the joint. Even ankylosing spondylitis would do it. But ankylosing spondylitis would cause sacroilitis first.
Plus syndesmophytes i think are not same as ostephytes. Syndesmophytes means new bone growth. therefore answer is (c) Ankylosing hyperosteosis .
